Library Website Usability Study

Client: Faculty Subject Librarians at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas

Research Methods: In-person, moderated usability study

Timeline: Two months

Project Goals: Determine the usability of a new LibGuides template, gather data, make design changes based on user research, and migrate all research guides to the new template.

Process: The team consisted of two faculty subject librarians, head of web development and a UX intern (me).

Developed user profile and usability testing plan.

Outlined research method and task-based usability test. 

Analyzed data.

Recommended design changes based on user data collected.
