Project Goals: Determine the needs of new staff to enhance the training and onboarding process. Move the training process online and create a graduated model of training modules staff can complete at their own pace.
Process: Heavy research went into this process to determine the training gaps and needs for new and existing staff. This project was a collaboration between three staff supervisors, two librarians, and unit supervisor. I served as the project manager and user experience researcher. I designed and conducted all user research and synthesized data to inform the group of user needs and made instructional design recommendations. I documented all the steps in the process and reported findings in an executive summary.
